During two decades of military service, Paul Maitland learned that the difference between mission success and failure often came down to one thing: the quality of your inputs. The fuel you put in your body determines how you perform, recover, and endure — and there are no shortcuts.
After transitioning from service, Paul earned his MBA in Finance and built a career in Software Engineering, bringing the same analytical rigor to every system he touched. But when he turned that lens on the supplement industry, what he found was alarming: brands cutting corners with cheap ingredient forms that the body barely absorbs, fillers that serve the manufacturer — not the consumer — and doses that look impressive on a label but never reach your cells.
He founded Cien Rios Wellness on a single principle: Physiological Safety. Every ingredient must be in a form the body recognizes and can actually use. Every batch must be verified — not by the company that makes it, but by an independent lab. And every formula must be engineered to eliminate the hidden risks that mass-market brands ignore, from Vitamin B6 toxicity to unmetabolized folic acid.
The name Cien Rios— “A Hundred Rivers” — reflects Paul's belief that true wellness flows from many sources: discipline, nutrition, transparency, and trust. No single pill is a silver bullet. But the right foundation, built on precision and integrity, changes everything.
